Faculty and Advisor Resources
Local Pi Alpha Alpha chapters are run by dedicated faculty and staff. The NASPAA office and the Pi Alpha Alpha Special Ad Hoc Committee are available to support you upon request.
Interested in starting a chapter?
As a founding advisor, you will gain invaluable experience and professional development by starting and organizing a student organization. Review the Criteria for Establish a Chapter and submit your application.
Already an established chapter?
Make sure you submit your annual report by July 1 each year (log in above to make submission). Your annual report informs NASPAA and the Pi Alpha Alpha council about your progress and makes you eligible for awards.
Advisor Expectations
The chapter advisor is expected to maintain good standing with NASPAA by submitting an annual report and communicating any major changes with NASPAA staff. Advisors should see to it that new members are inducted at least once per academic year and that chapter officer positions are filled. Advisors are encouraged to design activities and outreach to promote Pi Alpha Alpha within their school and local community. Any full-time faculty member can serve as an advisor.
Please read the FAQ page to answer any additional questions you have. If you still have questions, contact paa@naspaa.org.
Annual Inductions (Certificates and Regalia)
Each chapter organizes and conducts their own induction process. To order inductee certificates and additional regalia, please place orders at Ken Jernigan & Associates website.
